Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, using tools like TOAST POS systems.
- Engage with guests warmly, taking orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring their experience exceeds expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and basic retail math calculations.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote safety and responsible drinking.
- Restock supplies regularly to ensure the bar is fully equipped for high-volume service periods.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during catering or banquet events to deliver seamless service.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining and or hotel settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as TOAST POS for order processing and sales tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality customer service.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
- Experience in retail math, cash handling, cashiering, and basic math skills essential for accurate transactions.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments like the food industry or hospitality sector.
