Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces to verify cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards are met or exceeded.
- Supervise housekeeping staff during cleaning routines, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to quality protocols.
- Identify areas needing maintenance or deep cleaning, coordinating with maintenance teams or external vendors as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and industrial cleaning standards to promote a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Manage cleaning schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and monitor team performance to optimize workflow.
- Uphold customer service excellence by addressing guest concerns related to cleanliness promptly and professionally.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, cleaning logs, safety checks, and staff supervision activities to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial work, industrial cleaning, or janitorial services within a hospitality or commercial setting.
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience with strong leadership capabilities.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for managerial interactions with staff and guests alike.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting supplies, and performing detailed inspections.
- Familiarity with laundry operations and housekeeper management is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Previous experience in hospitality management or housekeeping supervision is highly desirable.
