Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Project Estimator role based in Conroe, TX. The Project Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates, developing competitive bids, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and collaborating closely with project teams to ensure successful project execution
Qualifications
- 3 years of construction estimating experience; commercial glass and glazing experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate, detailed takeoffs and competitive bids for storefront, curtain wall, doors, hardware, and glazing systems
- Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, and scope analysis
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, PartnerPak, Glazier Studio, and other estimating software
- Ability to identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or performance
- Field or installation experience in commercial glass and glazing is a strong advantage
- Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across project managers, field teams, vendors, and general contractor
Education and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred — equivalent industry experience will be considered
