Spring-Ford Area School District is actively recruiting a Special Education Teacher at the 8th Grade Center working in a full time learning support classroom. This position is currently located in the 8th grade center teaching students who have complex needs in a learning support/life skills classroom. The position rotates between 7th and 8th grade each school year.

Essential Responsibilities
Certification
Must have a valid and active PA Special Education PK-8 or Special Education PK-12 certification.
Position Start Date: August 18, 2026
Compensation
Spring-Ford Area School District offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and prescription insurance, as well as paid time off and a tuition reimbursement program.
Salary is based on the salary matrix from the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The successful candidate will be required to submit valid Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances (dated less than 1 year from the start of employment) and a Health Record/TB Test form (dated less than 90 days from the start of employment).

- Supervise classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment, and
- Grading assignments, evaluating students' progress, and planning educational activities
