Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a creative and passionate Preschool Floater Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators! Our preschool program provides a balance of learning and play, helping children build the academic and social skills that prepare them for Pre-K and beyond.
As a Preschool Floater Teacher, you will support multiple preschool classrooms and inspire curiosity, nurture confidence, and create meaningful learning experiences that make every day exciting and purposeful for young learners.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and deliver engaging lessons that promote exploration, early literacy, and critical thinking.
- Encourage independence and collaboration through hands-on, play-based learning.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
- Partner with fellow teachers and school leaders to create a warm, inclusive classroom environment.
- Support the school community through teamwork, creativity, and a shared passion for excellence.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and have an awarded High School Diploma or GED.
- 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center.
- Completed State required 45-Hour DCF training preferred.
- A nurturing personality with patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with babies.
- Authorization to work in the United States
