What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer position at Spring Dynamics?
Spring Dynamics is a custom industrial spring manufacturer primarily serving the automotive industry. Machining efforts are to support our in-house tooling and machinery needs. The evaluation of spring designs are now requiring tooling with greater flexibility and repeatability, which has led to the need for CNC made tools for our spring machines.
- Knowledge of MasterCam programming for CNC Mills
- Experience with CNC machining / mill setup (preferably HAAS)
- Ability to design fixtures and work holding details
- Ability to program 4 axis milling machines
- Ability to program parts from a blueprint or CAD
- Ability to create MasterCam tool sheets and set up instructions
The CNC Programmer positions will be required to take the lead on programming and CNC machining as we transition the majority of our in-house made tooling over to CNC equipment and processes. This position is focused on programming and machining on our brand new HAAS TM-2P vertical mill.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years experience with MasterCam Programming
- 2 years experience with CNC milling
- High school diploma / GED equivalent required
- Associate's Degree or Certificate in Machine Tool Trade is a plus
