We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and culturally aware individual to lead our "Mi Hogar" Program—a Spanish-language, Latino-centered activities program designed for Spanish-speaking residents. This role is vital in promoting emotional well-being, engagement, and cultural identity through personalized activities and social interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and lead and cultural activities (Mon–Thu)
- Host events celebrating Latino culture, holidays, music, art, and traditions
- Provide a welcoming, engaging, and respectful environment for Spanish-speaking residents
- Collaborate with the Activities Director to coordinate events and optimize resident engagement
- Maintain program supplies and decorate activity areas to reflect cultural themes
- Track participation, provide resident feedback, and support ongoing program development
- Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
- Prior experience in recreation, activity planning, or elder care (preferred)
- Strong understanding of Latino cultural traditions and values
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic, patient, and passionate about working with seniors
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Monday to Thursday
- 8 hours per day
- Part-time position with consistent weekday hours
