Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Full Time Nights

Spring Creek Healthcare Center in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)! No contract required, but we do require that you work part time or full time, and finish your first 90-days with us to be eligible for this program. Day shifts are from 6 AM to 6 PM, while night shifts are from 6 PM to 6 AMFull Time nurses work 3 days a weekPart Time nurses work 1-2 days a weekPRN nurses work on a "as-needed/available" scheduleRequirementsCurrent Utah-Issued LPN license in good standingEffective communicationWillingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term careJob DutiesOrdering medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed.Preparing and administering treatments/medications as ordered by the physicianNotify the resident's physician and/or family members when there is a change in the resident's conditionAdministering professional nursing practice services such as: tube feedings, suction, catheterization, changing of dressings, packs, and irrigations as necessaryContinuous observation and monitoring of seriously ill residentsBeing the patient advocate and ensuring that other healthcare team members are providing care according to the resident's care plan and personal wishesAccurately completing necessary charting as required and in a timely manner
