Conducts graduation audits, confers degrees, coordinates assigned duties related to Commencement, and performs assigned registration activities.

Conducts graduation audits, confers degrees, coordinates assigned duties related to Commencement, and performs assigned registration activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts degree audits
- Communicates with students regarding degree requirements and plans towards graduation.
- Works with advisors and academic departments to ensure students are progressing properly toward graduation and to ensure students receive accurate and consistent information.
- Confers degrees monthly.
- Manages diploma distribution.
- Works closely with the Commencement Coordinator related to commencement information, assignments, and responsibilities.
- Works with Commencement product vendors and manages contracts for commencement responsibilities assigned to the Office of Registration and Records.
- Orders and distributes diploma covers, diplomas, honor cords, stoles, commencement regalia, etc. for all SAU students.
- Prepares graduation lists and honors lists.
- Provides graduation lists to university offices (i.e. alumni office, etc.) as requested.
- Acts as the primary contact for in-person office visitors.
- Assists with registration activities for main campus students.
- Answers phones in rotation with other office personnel.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Preferred experience working in higher education in an area related to academics.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May assist with the supervision of student workers to meet the needs of the school. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Experience working in multicultural academic environments preferred and individuals from diverse populations are encouraged to apply.
