Role Description
The Inside Sales Coordinator serves as the primary operational support for the Chief Growth Officer, driving customer communication, sales support, account coordination, and food-service commercialization. This individual is responsible for strengthening customer relationships, ensuring flawless communication, supporting key distributor partnerships, and helping generate incremental revenue through proactive account management.
This role combines inside sales, customer success, commercial operations, and executive sales support into one highly visible position.
Primary Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information within the CRM system.
- Manage customer contact records, including buyers, purchasing teams, accounts payable, brand managers, category managers, operations leaders, store managers, and regional supervisors.
- Track organizational changes within customer accounts.
- Maintain daily sales activity reports, including purchase order status, ship dates, and customer updates.
Inside Sales & Business Development
- Proactively engage customers to generate new and repeat business.
- Request and process purchase orders.
- Follow up on open quotations and sales opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to upsell existing customers and introduce new products.
- Support promotional initiatives and customer marketing programs.
- Research and identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain a daily pipeline report documenting leads, customer interactions, territories, and sales activities.
Customer Success
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
- Conduct routine customer check-ins to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Coordinate product shipments and maintain shipment status reports.
- Monitor service levels to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.

Support the Foodservice Division by coordinating key commercial projects and customer onboarding activities, including:
- Coordinating communication with equipment manufacturers and service vendors.
- Scheduling installation meetings and project milestones.
- Tracking equipment deliveries and project progress.
- Coordinating service requests and issue resolution.
- Supporting the successful launch of new foodservice customers.
Provide ongoing support for key distributor partners, including DOT Foods, regional distributors, and broadline foodservice partners by:
- Coordinating new customer setup.
- Managing vendor documentation.
- Providing product and pricing information.
- Supporting promotional initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Managing order follow-up and maintaining order status reports.
Provide administrative and commercial support to the Chief Growth Officer by:
- Responding to customer inquiries.
- Coordinating meetings and customer communications.
- Preparing presentations and sales materials.
- Organizing customer information and maintaining sales reports.
- Managing action items and follow-up activities.
- Maintain accurate CRM and Power BI data.
- Update customer records and sales opportunities.
- Produce weekly sales and pipeline reports.
- Monitor open opportunities and sales activity.
- Coordinate product sample requests.
- Support sales forecasting activities.
- Maintain pricing files and commercial documentation.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of inside sales, customer service, sales support, or commercial operations experience
- Experience with CRM systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Experience in foodservice, beverage, or CPG preferred
