- Promote campaign messages through persuasive communication techniques.
- Organize and participate in outdoor work activities, including walking extensive routes to maximize outreach coverage
- Collaborate with team members to strategize effective canvassing routes and community engagement tactics
Requirements
- Prior experience in canvassing, or community engagement preferred but not required; training provided
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to reach a broader audience effectively
- Demonstrated outdoor work experience, including walking for extended periods using transportation methods such as walking or biking
- Customer service experience that emphasizes professionalism and positive interactions
- Ability to handle telemarketing or cold calling techniques when necessary for outreach efforts
- Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership roles within the team
