Role Description & Responsibilities
Position Summary
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for growing sales and managing customer relationships within an assigned geographic territory. This role will drive revenue by cultivating relationships with distributors, retailers, and growers, conducting product demonstrations, participating in field days, and providing feedback to leadership on market trends and product positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand customer relationships within designated territory.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Conduct customer visits, field days, and product demonstrations.
- Provide feedback to leadership regarding territory trends, customer needs, and product performance.
- Partner with agronomy, marketing, and product development teams to support local trials and demonstrations.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer contacts, and pipeline opportunities.
- Represent Spraytec at regional industry events and meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or related field preferred
- 5 years of sales experience in the agricultural industry.
- Strong knowledge of crop production practices and grower challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Physical Requirements
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory, up to 65% of the time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as needed when working with product
