What You'll Do
As an Electrical Helper / Top Helper, you'll work alongside experienced electricians on commercial construction projects while gaining valuable hands-on experience.
- Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial electrical systems
- Pull wire, install boxes, and assist with conduit installation and bending
- Perform basic electrical terminations and connections under supervision
- Support troubleshooting efforts and help implement safe, code-compliant solutions
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, electrical drawings, and work instructions
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow all company safety policies and industry standards
- Collaborate with electricians, supervisors, project managers, and other trades to support project goals
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred
- Entry-level candidates with construction experience and a strong desire to learn are encouraged to apply
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, materials, and jobsite safety practices
- Ability to assist with wire pulling, conduit installation, and other electrical construction tasks
- Willingness to learn from experienced electricians and follow direction effectively
- Ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings and layouts
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
