Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Welding Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will fabricate and weld semi-truck trailers while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, can lift up to 50 lbs, and is comfortable performing freehand welding.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld components for semi-truck trailers.
- Measure, cut, and prepare metal materials according to specifications.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints or weld instructions.
- Inspect finished welds and trailer components for defects or inconsistencies.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintain quality and follow all safety procedures.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or material shortages to the supervisor.
- Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs as needed..
Qualifications
- Prior welding/fabrication experience preferred.
- Perform a test weld on the first shift (freehand).
- Must bring a personal welding helmet shield (all other equipment provided).
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and reliable work ethic.
Shift Details
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 6AM-3PM (5 Hours of Overtime per week)
- Location: Kingman, KS 67068
- Pay: $17/hour
- Lunch is provided
