What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager, Customer Engagement position at Spotlight?
Your clients’ reputations on G2, Gartner Peer Insights, and beyond? That’s yours to build.
Enterprise buyers today look to peer review platforms before they look at a vendor’s website — and Spotlight helps Fortune 500 technology companies show up well when they do. Our User Review Sourcing practice manages customer review programs on platforms like G2, Gartner Peer Insights, TrustRadius, and Capterra. The Program Manager, Customer Engagement is the person who owns that work for a portfolio of clients: building reviewer pipelines, running campaigns, and delivering measurable outcomes. This client-facing, results-oriented role—akin to an Account Manager—blends strong relationship management with sharp project execution.
Those effective in this role...
Client relationship management. You have 3–6 years of experience in B2B marketing, customer advocacy, consulting, or account management — and a track record of building strong client relationships and delivering measurable program results.
Peer review platform familiarity. You’re familiar with platforms like G2, Gartner Peer Insights, TrustRadius, or Capterra — either as a practitioner who’s run programs on them or a manager who’s overseen them.
Project management and organization. You manage multiple client programs and competing deadlines without losing track of where things stand. You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable — clients and teammates know they can count on you.
Analytical mindset. You track what matters — review volume, platform ratings, campaign performance — and you use that data to make programs better over time and report results clearly to clients.
Communication. You write and speak clearly, and you hold your own in conversations with marketing and product leadership. Your updates are timely, your recommendations are well-reasoned, and your tone is always professional.
You bring an upbeat, results-oriented energy to the work — and a genuine interest in B2B technology marketing and the platforms that influence how enterprise buyers make decisions.
