Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, living areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor patios when applicable.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic living environments.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to clean surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery effectively.
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
- Dust surfaces, clean windows, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and handle floor care with precision.
- Maintain proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy furniture or appliances to prevent injury.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences.
- Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled tasks within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure all cleaning tools and supplies are well-maintained and stored properly after use.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations related to janitorial work and sanitation practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is preferred; janitorial experience is a plus.
