About the Opportunity
Spotless Chimney Sweeping & Solutions is one of Connecticut’s fastest-growing home service companies, specializing in chimney inspections, rebuilds, and restoration.
We are hiring Field Sales Inspectors (FSIs) who want to build a serious career in outside sales not just run company leads.
We are looking for a self-starter who will take advantage of our book of business and follow up on old and current estimates.
This role begins with a 90-day paid training program, then transitions into a high-performance sales role focused on generating your own business, building relationships, and closing high-ticket jobs.
Compensation Structure
First 90 Days (Training Ramp):
- Paid training with guaranteed income (based on performance)
- Ride-alongs, field training, and sales coaching
- Learn inspections, closing, and customer experience systems
After Training (Full Sales Role):
- Commission-based with uncapped earnings ($90K–$250K )
- Bonuses for performance and self-generated revenue
- Higher earning potential tied directly to your activity
This Is NOT a “Leads Only” Sales Job
We provide opportunities — but top performers create their own pipeline.
After training, you will be expected to drive revenue through:
- Door knocking in targeted neighborhoods
- Evening outbound calling and follow-ups
- Networking with realtors, home inspectors, and local partners
- B2B outreach (roofers, HVAC companies, property managers, etc.)
- Working past customers and unsold estimates
This is a true outside sales role — your income is driven by your effort.
What You’ll Do
- Perform Level 2 chimney inspections for homeowners
- Follow our sales process and relationship building focus
- Educate homeowners on safety, repairs, and upgrade options
- Present solutions (liners, rebuilds, caps, fireplaces, etc.)
- Offer financing options to help customers move forward
Daily activity includes:
- Running appointments
- Prospecting (door knocking, calls, networking)
- Building referral relationships
- Managing your pipeline in ServiceTitan CRM
Who This Role Is For
- Highly driven and competitive
- Comfortable with both face-to-face and outbound sales activity
- Willing to knock doors, make calls, and build relationships
- Strong communicator who builds trust quickly
- Wants to earn six figures or more based on performance
Best backgrounds:
- HVAC, roofing, solar, or home improvement sales
- Pest control or construction sales
- Financial or in-home sales
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work evenings and some Saturdays
- Comfortable with door knocking, calling, and networking
- Sales experience preferred (2 years ideal, not required)
- Tech-friendly (iPad, CRM systems like ServiceTitan)
