Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining and entertainment experience for all guests. Our Customer Service Representatives act as a team to take on roles such as cashiers, food runners, bussers, and guest experience ambassadors. They will remain upbeat, energetic, and professional for the entirety of their shift. This individual will have some customer service experience and have strong, calm, professional demeanor when speaking with guests. They will serve as a resource for customers, players, members with questions about the company policies, programs, or services. They will refer any questions about facilities’ access to the relevant manager
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure all guests entering the venue are greeted appropriately and swiftly and that they are provided the most up to date information regarding the programs, events, activities, and food & beverages offered.
- Direct patrons to their desired location within the facility, refer to the map as needed.
- Answer phone calls at work station (front desk, beer wall), take messages and send to appropriate personnel.
- Promote the facility’s upcoming events, activities, and promotional specials.
- Manage reservations – this includes dining and activities (bocce, cornhole, etc.).
- Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy, including but not limited to food & beverage and onsite activities.
- Monitor and observe guest’s experience to ensure they are satisfied and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems.
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
- May take and serve food or beverages orders.
- May collect payments from guests, includes handling cash transactions.
- Check guests’ identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Use POS systems to manage reservations, place food and beverage orders, and handle monetary transactions, including cash and credit card.
- Answer any questions about menu items and explain to guests how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
- Inform guests of menu changes and daily specials.
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitization of the restaurant, tap wall desk, and entire facility.
- Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning.
- Clean and sanitize tables or counters after guests have finished dining.
- Assist department manager and other departments in administrative duties and projects as requested.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Customer Service Obsession with excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of scheduling software.
- Familiarity with cashier or POS system.
- Familiarity with phone system like ShoreTel.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Entry level up to one year’s related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand for duration of work shift.
- Bend, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of walking.
