Our 3 operating businesses (Club Sport, Sports, and Food & Beverage) offers 240,000 square feet of entertainment space under one roof where you will find everything you need for fun, fitness, family activities, food & beverage, parties, and social events. Open 7-days a week, our facility offers an arcade of games, bocce ball, bouncy houses, wall climbing, cornhole, darts, pizza, sushi, tapas, a vast beer wall and so much more.

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, the activities attendant is responsible for overseeing the activities done during birthday parties, field trip and monitoring the Kids Corner area. The activities include jumpy houses, slides, rock climbing, arcade, and other games. Works with chaperones to ensure enjoyment for kids. Acts as hosts for birthday parties and Kids Corner.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Enthusiastically greet and check in members as they enter (track and control usage); smile and use names often.
• Setup children’s activities, getting equipment
• Gather, monitor kids
• Coordinates with parents, check if they need anything.
• May help serve food
• May help bus and clean tables,
• May serve drinks, food
• Assists host with bday party gifts, transport to car
• Provide exciting and excellent service for guests of all ages, focusing on children.
• Engage in activities with the children while maintaining a safe environment; activities may include, jumpy houses, field activities, rock climbing, and more.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining cleanliness within the play areas.
• Complete guest transactions handling them appropriately.
• Ensure that different areas are kept clean, properly maintained, and pick up any trash on the floors.
• Provide information about facilities, entertainment options, and rules and regulations to guests.
• Promote The Plex’s events and programs.
• Adhere to safety guidelines outlined for the Plex.
• Communicate any issues or escalations to supervisors or department managers.
• Assist department manager and other departments in administrative duties and projects as requested.
• Incumbents must clock into correct department that they work at that time.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Customer Service Obsession with excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to one year’s related experience required.
• Previous experience working with children and teenagers.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for duration of work shift.
• Running, and walking
• Bend, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Climbing, stooping and/or crouching, kneeling, and reaching.
• Must be observant to all member activities and surroundings with a keen eye, prepared for any emergency response.

Salary : $18 - $20
