What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator position at Sportsman Boats Mfg.?
Sportsman Boats is looking for a fabricator to assist in creating T-tops and leaning posts for Sportsman boats. his is a good opportunity for entry level welders who want to gain experience in this field.
What you will do:
- Layout, cut, fit, measure and tack weld aluminum pipe
- Paint weld beads on anodized parts
- Fit up parts
- Learn and grow!
What you know / have done:
- Experience in anodized aluminum
- Fabrication skills
- Ability to assess metal structures to identify and initiate repair of damaged welds
- Ability to use small tools, operating air/hand tools, welders, grinders and buffing machines
- Close tolerance when measuring; strong attention to detail
- Good time management and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to comply with OSHA, MSDS and safety guidelines
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ever changing environment
- High School Diploma or GED required
