Sportsfield Specialties is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist for its Delhi, NY location who can work independently and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, thrive both independently and as part of a team, and take initiative in driving process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities/Duties include but not limited to:

Responsibilities/Duties include but not limited to:
- Train, coach, and mentor employees/teams on Continuous Improvement principles, tools, and new procedures to ensure adoption and sustainability;
- Develop and track training plans for all employees in Operations;
- Coordinate and conduct New Hire Orientation for all employees in Operations along with Human Resources;
- ERP systems trainer for NY Operations;
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data using quantitative methods to facilitate process analysis;
- Implement improvements, establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and monitor key metrics to track progress and ensure long-term success;
- Facilitate cross communications in Operations;
- Occasional travel between Delhi and Deposit Plants;
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Effective communication coupled with excellent public speaking/presentation skills;
- Demonstrated knowledge of software technology, and proficiency with remote meeting technologies;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and other training software programs;
- Strong teambuilding, organizational and leadership skills;
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines;
- Ability to maintain professional composure under stressful situations;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Able to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Associates degree and 2 years experience in training development and compliance or an equivalent combination of experience and education;
- 2 years experience in public speaking or presentation;
- Microsoft Office to include Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheets, Word;
- Experience with Training Software to include Learning Management Systems and Standard Operating Procedures;
- ERP experience required.
