JOB OBJECTIVE
We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, invoicing, the contract management process, financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand revenue recognition as it relates to a SaaS company
- Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans
- Owns month-end and year-end close process
- Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.
- Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
- Manages Processes, Financial Software, Audits, Tracking Budget Expenses, Analyzing Information and Developing Budgets
- Direct and execute contract management process.
- Implement sales forecasting by utilizing Salesforce platform.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working for a SaaS company
- Salesforce Forecasting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
- Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- 10 years of progressively responsible experience
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
