Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering questions about merchandise
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
- Upsell related products to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking duties
- Handle cash, process payments accurately, and perform cashiering duties including cash handling and retail math calculations
- Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves and organizing stockroom areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Assist with supervising team members when needed, ensuring smooth store operations
- Maintain phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math skills
- Experience with cashiering, cash handling, and upselling techniques
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service excellence
- Ability to perform product demos and assist with merchandising efforts
