Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, analytical professional to join our team as a Business Operations Analyst – Customer Accounts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys researching issues, identifying root causes, communicating clearly, and helping drive better business outcomes.
This position supports customer account operations through reconciliations, deduction research, payment application, account follow-up, and internal decision support. While the role sits within our receivables function, we let third parties handle any strong collection effort. This is more of a business relationship role and It is a strong fit for someone who brings organization, professionalism, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Post and apply customer payments accurately to invoices
- Reconcile customer accounts and research missing or unmatched invoices
- Review and audit customer deductions to identify root causes
- Help problem-solve recurring issues behind deductions and account discrepancies
- Deliver strong customer service with customers to gather account statuses and payment updates
- Support internal strategy around customer accounts and credit-related decisions
- Maintain strong documentation, organization, and follow-through on account activity
- Use Excel, internal systems, and AI tools to improve efficiency and analysis
- Work collaboratively with a strong team and support department goals
