What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Coordinator position at Sports Rehab & Physical Therapy?
We are seeking a full time personable and cheerful individual to take over the Care Coordinator position at our Weatherford location.
Some responsibilities of the Care Coordinator include:
- Answer phones
- Greet patients
- Collect Co-Pays and Co-Insurance
- Chart creations
- Schedule patients
- Maintain accurate records
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- We expect the Care Coordinator to have a high school diploma/GED, good communication skills, and a working knowledge of computer programs, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus!
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or similar role is highly preferred
- Proficiency in using medical software, EMR systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong administrative skills including phone systems management and appointment scheduling
- Collecting payments
Our practice is privately owned and managed by physical therapists. We have been established in the area for many years.
We see patients primarily with orthopedic disorders and have a close working relationship with college athletes and surrounding high school athletic programs.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
