Due to continued clinical success and growing patient demand, Sports Pro Physical Therapy is expanding and now hiring a Physical Therapist to join our team in Glenn Dale/Bowie, MD.
About the Role
As a Physical Therapist at Sports Pro, you’ll provide hands-on, evidence-based outpatient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You’ll treat a broad outpatient caseload while having ownership over your schedule and treatment approach. You’ll be supported through structured onboarding and ongoing mentorship, working alongside experienced clinicians and leadership who are actively involved in patient care.
Your typical day includes:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals
- Treat a broad outpatient caseload including general orthopedics, pre- and post-surgical care, arthritis and pain management, balance and mobility conditions, and select neurologic cases
- Deliver hands-on, evidence-based care using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and aquatic therapy as appropriate
- Progress patients through their plan of care and adjust treatment based on response and goals
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, recovery expectations, and long-term self-management
- Communicate with referring providers as needed to support patient outcomes and advocacy
- Complete timely, accurate documentation including evaluations, progress notes, re-evaluations, and discharges
- Work closely with PTAs, techs, and the clinical team to support patient care and clinic flow
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews focused on clinical learning, skill development, and sharing best practices

About You
We'd love to hear from you if you bring:
- Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active or eligible Maryland Physical Therapy license
- Passion for the outpatient orthopedic setting, including aquatic therapy
- A hands-on, patient-centered approach to treatment
- Comfort working with patients across a wide range of ages, backgrounds, cultures, and clinical needs
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
- A collaborative mindset and desire to continue growing as a clinician
