Job Summary

Sports Imports is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team and lead the efficient management of our warehouse operations. Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth functioning of the warehouse, optimize processes, manage inventory, and promote a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Key Accountabilities

●      Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes, from receiving and inventory management to order fulfillment and shipping, to ensure timely and accurate ordering processing.

●      Deliver unmatched customer service by ensuring company standards of premium quality products, 48-hour shipping customer commitment, and urgent communication between the operations team and sales, marketing, and finance departments.

●      Monitor and maintain inventory, implementing effective strategies to minimize stock discrepancies and maximize inventory turnover.

●      Manage and lead warehouse team by setting clear performance expectations, analyzing productivity, and operational standards.

●      Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to align warehouse operations with overall business goals.

●      Utilize warehouse management systems to track shipments, monitor inventory levels, generate reports, and improve overall operations efficiency.

●      Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety by conducting regular training sessions and safety audits.

●      Optimize space utilization within the warehouse to accommodate storage needs and streamline order picking and packing processes.

●      Identify talent, hire, and effectively train new employees.

Qualifications and Skills

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

·       Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager and Forklift experience.

·       Must maintenance a driver record that meets company insurability standards
