The Heat Press Lead will work within our Professional Services Group, which has the mission of providing innovative customization solutions for our customers. This position will provide direction, leadership, and development to individuals working within Heat Press and HAL. The right candidate will be an eager individual that displays leadership and has a track record of accomplishing tasks efficiently and on time.
We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a strong focus on customer service and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” approach.

Sports Endeavors and its employees support Relay for Life, Race for the Cure, United Way and other non-profit organizations and events. Our Passback Program collects used but still usable gear from customers and then distributes it to teams who are not able to afford even the most basic sports equipment. To date, we have collected and redistributed over 1,000,000 pieces of equipment to organizations around the world.

There Are Two Shifts Available For This Role
- 1st Shift
- Off-Peak: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Peak: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- 2nd Shift
- Off-Peak: 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
- Peak: 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
Responsibilities
Major Accountabilities / Essential Duties
- Distribute work and ongoing training to Heat Press/HAL Operators.
- Hold Operators and QC accountable for Quality and Productivity.
- Daily attention to the backlog report to assure that it is accurate and current.
- Work with other Team leaders when a sharing of manpower is necessary to fill a production need.
- Always keep Management & Technicians aware of any machine problems that may cause difficulties with Quality or Productivity.
- Clear and precise shift change with the oncoming or outgoing lead in the same roll.
- Assist with all duties asked of the Supervisor or Manager within the Heat Press/HAL Department including being able to perform all duties expected of a Heat Press Operator.
- Be a liaison between other areas within the Customization Department if needed to ensure we are meeting our Customer Service driven goals.
- Responsible for keeping work area safe and clean daily.
- Be a resource for questions and guidance to all Heat Press/HAL staff.
- Must be able to perform all job duties of trainers level 1 and 2 as well as operators.
- Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
- Initiative, adaptability, and patience with repetition are a must within the role.
- Ability to work with various learning abilities and be respectful of differences in styles of learning.
- Ability to operate and understand functioning equipment according to established processes.
- Ability to organize, plan, and problem solve.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to help others learn and succeed.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Track record of knowledge and adherence to all company and CFC policies.
- Possess high attention to detail and demonstrate a high quality of work.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and direct work to others with minimal supervision from the Department Supervisor.
- Prior heat press experience is a must and prior lead experience is preferred.
- Must have a proven track record of punctuality with minimal absenteeism.
- Candidate should be production oriented.
- Must be proficient in English.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
