Pay varies by position and is based on multiple factors including labor market data and, depending on position, may include education, work experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, and/or certifications. Additionally, Sportech takes into account the internal equity of current employees when considering compensation. Sportech’s reasonable and good-faith estimate for the range of new hire compensation at the time of posting for this position is between $65,000 - $75,000 annually. Pay may also include variable compensation from time to time such as overtime for non-exempt positions, shift differential for specific shifts, and/or bonus targets (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
Job Summary
This position will be responsible for monitoring and controlling inventory integrity processes as well as supporting all other inventory and warehousing initiatives as required. Maintains an inventory of raw materials in stock, on order, and work-in-process. Provides inventory information as needed and may investigate inventory accuracy.
Essential Job Functions
- Directly supervise the day to day inventory related activities
- Leads the day-to-day cycle counting activities to ensure that current counts are being completed while improvements are being made
- Develop and track KPI
- Monthly review and generation of cycle count lists of materials to count daily, aligning with current production schedule
- Investigate inventory discrepancies as they arise and escalate and adjust inventory as needed
- Physically counts or leads the count of each product and/or location as necessary to fulfill cycle count program requirements
- Perform inventory related activities as required
- Determines method of inventory correction
- Enter data through Epicor to update the inventory records in the computer
- Assists in the training of staff in the methods of cycle counting and inventory transactions
- Develop and maintain warehouse labeling requirements and standards
- Key stake holder in developing and implementing PFEP and FIFO
- Ensure Cycle Count compliance with internal and external audit requirements
- Be a change agent and drive inventory accuracy throughout the warehouse and manufacturing operations
- Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and decision making
- Assures a safe working environment for all employees, emphasizing prevention of potential problems and hazardous conditions
- Maintains a clean and organized work area following 5S procedures and practices
- May be required to perform additional jobs as assigned
Requirements
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent plus 5 years or more of relevant experience
- Requires at least 2 years’ experience supervising or leading teams
- Forklift training and certification required
- Ability to lift and perform other physically demanding tasks associated with material handling and receiving
- Accurate counting skill
- Some computer skills
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with team members
