Quality Assurance/Techinical Writer

General requirements:

Under the general direction of the Director of Engineering, the employee will work from verbal and written instructions. The employee will carefully follow any process control listed for any procedure or build process without deviation in a timely manner. The employee will maintain a proper attitude toward their work and their co-workers. Complete assignments in a timely manner. The employee will follow all safety rules without exception.

Job Duties:

· Pre-inspection of Chassis and SportChassis components.

· Program trucks with SportChassis specific features/options.

· Update truck switch information and features in CHEC on DTNA Portal.

· Maintain QA document check lists.

· Inspect and test drive completed truck for deficits that need corrected.

· Perform final inspection of corrected issues prior to shipment.

· Apply SportChassis brand stickers to specific locations on the truck prior to shipment.

· Detail the interior/exterior of completed truck prior to shipment.

· Take photographs of finished truck prior to shipment.

· Document the deficits found to identify the root cause requiring corrective action.

· Work closely with department leads and supervisors to document new and existing processes.

· Ensure approved process control steps are being followed.

· Update process controls as needed with proper approval.

· Apply PartsPro annotations and maintain records for modified trucks.

Additionally:

Advises the Director of Engineering, Supervisor of Assembly, and Safety Officer of any unsafe conditions

Keep work station neat, clean and safe at all times

Performs any other work that is assigned

Job Knowledge and Qualifications:

Must be computer literate

Must be able to read, write and understand normal directions

Must be detail oriented

Ability to work effectively with employees, coworkers and management

Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs. with or without assistance

Above average English language skills, and basic math skills

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ability to convey a positive and professional image

Pay: $15.15 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
