Do you have an eagle eye for detail? As a Quality Control/Packaging Specialist at Sport Designs & Graphics, in Effingham IL, you’ll be the final checkpoint before our products reach our customers. Your role will be to ensure that every screen-printed and embroidered item meets our high-quality standards and is packaged perfectly for delivery. If you take pride in precision and enjoy making sure things are done right, this is the perfect role for you!
Responsibilities and Duties:

• Inspect Finished Products: Carefully examine screen-printed items to ensure they meet our quality standards, checking for accuracy in design, color, and placement.
• Count and Verify Orders: Accurately count finished products to ensure orders are complete and ready for shipment.
• Support Production: Assist production workers by performing additional tasks, such as supplying materials, folding products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Packaging: Package products carefully and efficiently, ensuring that each item is ready for safe transport to customers.
• Equipment Handling: Utilize tools and equipment like hand trucks, packing tape dispensers and utility knives safely and efficiently to support quality control and packaging tasks.
• Documentation: Record inspection results and report any defects or issues to the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Collaboration: Communicate effectively with production manager and team members to ensure a smooth workflow and maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Previous experience in quality control, inspection, or packaging roles is preferred but not required.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify even the smallest imperfections.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with basic tools and technologies, such as hand trucks and utility knives, and the ability to learn new equipment and processes.
• Communication: Strong verbal communication skills for effectively interacting with team members and supervisors.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require precision and focus.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a commitment to quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
