You will provide architectural leadership, design scalable systems, and produce technical specifications and documentation. This role requires strong hands-on development experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to guide teams across multiple technologies.Important: Applicants who do not meet the required qualifications listed below will be automatically filtered out and not considered for this position.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, define, and enhance current architectural systems.Collaborate with technology managers, design teams, and non-technical stakeholders to identify goals and system requirements.Evaluate frameworks, tools, and architectural approaches to recommend optimal solutions.Architect, design, and develop secure, scalable, high-performance applications.Produce high-level technical specifications and architectural blueprints.Guide development teams, assist with performance tuning, and resolve system design issues.Review Cyber vulnerability reports (e.g., Veracode) and recommend security measures.Support ADA compliance efforts for applications.Work onsite at least 3 days per week in downtown NYC.**Required Qualifications(Applications missing these will not be considered)**8 years designing scalable architecture systems and delivering enterprise solutions.5 years development experience with Java and/or .NET, SQL Server/Oracle, application design, testing, and implementation.Expertise in:Java, Angular, JavaScript, Microservices, APIsJSP, Spring, Hibernate, JPAWeb services and data integration tools5 years with WebLogic 14c and/or Apache Tomcat.5 years backend SQL experience (complex queries, stored procedures, functions).Experience with DevOps, Repos, and CI/CD pipelines.3 years using CRM tools (MS Dynamics or Salesforce preferred).Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).Experience creating architecture diagrams, system designs, and technical documentation.Proficiency with Visio.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Additional InformationExpected project duration: February 1, 2026 – January 31, 2027Candidates must attend in-person interviews.Hourly compensation: $80/hourCompany DescriptionSPORDA Tech Inc is a Technical Service Provider Company and an MWBE in New York State.
