Spoonwood Brewing Company is seeking an applicant to be our Sous Chef.
A qualified Sous Chef, along with being a badass cook, must possess the following:
-Leadership: must be able to successfully lead a culinary team and be a positive role model for our staff. Hands on is a must! Cranking out delicious food is the goal.
-Teamwork: working hand in hand with other management team members, and assisting staff when needed.
-Discipline and Work Ethic: must have a stable work history with a proven track record. Dedicated to quality.
-Creativity: we want to see someone contribute some imagination and heart to our plates.
The Sous Chef is responsible for assisting the Head Chef with the overall operations of the back of house and kitchen area. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Producing amazing food for our guests.
-Managing and controlling food and labor costs.
-Assisting in ordering and maintaining inventory.
-Maintaining food quality and consistency.
-Prep and Expediting.
-Dedicated training of our kitchen staff.
-Following food safety guidelines.
