What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook/Prep Cook position at Spoon and Fork?
We are Spoon and Fork, a Filipino restaurant looking to expand our kitchen operations and we are looking to hire line cooks to be part of our team.
Starting pay $18.00 - $20.00 per hour plus tips
- Must have line cook experience
- Must have flexible work hours including working weekends
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to handle large workloads
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- Must be able to work independently without direct supervision and also be able to work as a team
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must have self motivation
- Must be well organized and able to take directions and follow recipes
- Attention to detail is very important
- Exhibit basic food safety knowledge
- Works clean
- Daily kitchen clean up
- Show complete ownership of work station
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Accountable and reliable and dependable
- Food Handlers certification prior to employment a plus
- Background check will be performed
