Job Title: Quality Control
Department: Spokane Seed Company (Spokane Valley, WA).
Reports To: Quality Manager (Spokane, WA) Plant Superintendent (Spokane Valley, WA)
Employment Status: Full Time.
Important Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures and protocols to guarantee product integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, providing timely solutions to improve processes.
Perform regular audits of production lines to identify and rectify deviations from quality standards.
Document and analyze quality data, generating reports to track trends and areas for improvement.
Develop and update quality control documentation, including standard operating procedures and inspection checklists.
Train production staff on quality control processes and standards to enhance overall product quality awareness.
Investigate customer complaints or product defects, proposing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Participate in the development of new products, ensuring quality considerations are integrated into the design and manufacturing processes.
Stay current with industry regulations and standards, implementing changes as necessary to maintain compliance.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
High school graduate, with preferably (not required) one year of responsible experience in general sanitation (cleaning, sweeping, shoveling); or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with facility, conveyors, pits etc. is recommended, not required.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple directions, minimum of short communication needed. Ability to write and communicate simple directions. Ability to effectively present information to Quality Systems Coordinator and other sanitation workers and/ or small group situations to other employees.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed by uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few solid variables in regular situations.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
