Sales Administrative Assistant

Spokane Produce is seeking a highly motivated individual for a FULL TIME Sales Administrative Assistant with the desire for a position with longevity. This position will work well with Military Base customers to meet their needs. A successful candidate must know how to work professionally with a diverse population.

JOB SUMMARY:
Work closely with Military Produce Specialist to ensure the orders for Military Base Exchanges and Commissary Deli's are entered correctly and in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Assist Military Produce Specialist with care of all Area 4 (western Washington) and area 6 group 1 commissaries and assist with area 6 group 3 (Hawaii) commissaries on the weekend.
• Assist with daily web orders, processing daily credits, taking care of all issues to include mis-ships, quality problems, etc.
• Will be directly assigned some of the bases (TBT), all Exchanges and all Commissary Deli's as well as all of the DeCA ROA items.
• Will be assigned all POS duties to include printing weekly Promotional signs and shipping them to the stores, making sure all contest POS and banners are ordered and shipped out to the stores.
• Will prepare and send contractual reports to DeCA in a timely manner before the expected due date as assigned by the Military Produce Specialist.
• Will assist Military Produce Specialist to ensure all Marketing Programs according to the 52-week calendar are communicated to the Bases and Merchandisers to include weekly Promotions, Sidewalk Sale demo's and special events to also include Floral.
• Must be able to perform all duties and tasks of the Military Produce Specialist and cover when he is on vacation.
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must poses high level phone skills and deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Must possess proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must have a strong knowledge of the Produce Pro System to be able to enter orders and run reports
• Should have a good knowledge all produce items and the seasonality of all produce items

Must have reliable transportation to be at work by 7:00am Sunday through Thursday, be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen, and continue to satisfy our drug testing policy, if offered employment. We are a Federal Contractor and drug free workplace, which includes a prohibition on marijuana use for all employees.
