Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and professional CDL Driver who values safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. As a critical face of Spokane Hardware Supply, Inc., you will be responsible not only for the safe and timely delivery of goods but also for ensuring a positive and professional experience for our customers at every stop.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Load, secure, and unload deliveries using appropriate equipment and safety protocols.
- Deliver hardware supplies to commercial and residential customers across assigned routes.
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor.
- Accurately document deliveries and obtain necessary signatures or delivery confirmations.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff regarding schedules, delays, or issues.
- Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicles and report any maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and integrity.
