What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Digital Creative + Content Producer position at SPOC Energy?
Position Summary:
SPOC Energy is seeking a high-output creative producer to serve as the marketing department's dedicated in-house content and digital creative capability. This role completes the build-out of SPOC's internal marketing team following the company's transition from an external agency model, and it exists because the work is already funded and waiting: a video explainer series introducing SPOC's data center power work to general audiences, a pipeline of twenty field stories developed with our Chief Technology Officer, executive and technical thought leadership content for LinkedIn and YouTube, segment brand campaign creative, trade show and conference presence materials, new web pages supporting our Advanced Power Conversion positioning, and the fourth-quarter launch of a company-wide internal communications program.
This is a maker's role, not a manager's role. The ideal candidate is a modern digital creator who moves fluidly across video, motion, web, and brand execution — equally comfortable capturing and editing short-form video, designing a landing page, animating a product explainer, and shipping a finished web page without waiting on a development handoff. They combine strong visual instincts with working front-end literacy (HTML, CSS, familiarity with JavaScript) and are fluent in AI-assisted creative production workflows. Success requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, moves fast, and understands that modern industrial marketing is won by teams that publish consistently at high quality.
The role supports every SPOC business segment, with priority emphasis on Power Systems and the data center market, and works directly with the CMO, commercial strategy leadership, and the executive team — including production support for CEO and executive-level storytelling.
Lift Up Culture:
At SPOC Energy, we operate under a "Lift Up" culture that defines how we work, how we treat each other, and how we show up for our customers and the world around us. Lift Up means we Lift Up Yourself, Lift Up Your Team, Lift Up Our Company, Lift Up Our Customers, and Lift Up Our World. These are not concepts — they are expectations for how every individual operates every day. We are expected to take ownership of our own performance and growth, support and elevate the people around us, and contribute to building a stronger company and delivering real outcomes for our customers. Our work extends beyond the company itself, contributing to how energy is produced, managed, and improved in the world. This culture is grounded in how we operate: Committed — do it right, do it on time, every time; Caring — invest in people and relationships; Passionate — bring energy, competitiveness, and pride to the work; Solutions-focused — always find a better way. At SPOC, culture is not a statement — it is a standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Production & Storytelling (center of gravity of this role): Produce, edit, and publish video and motion content including product and technology explainers, field and customer stories, recruiting and employer-brand content, executive thought leadership, and event content. Own the production pipeline from capture through publish across LinkedIn, YouTube, the website, trade shows, presentations, and internal channels. Build repeatable content systems so a story captured once becomes assets for five channels.
Web & Digital Design: Design and build conversion-focused pages, landing pages, and digital experiences aligned with SPOC's brand and segment strategies. Create wireframes and prototypes where needed; implement directly in the CMS with responsive, accessible standards. Serve as day-to-day steward of brand application and consistency across all internal and external assets.
Creative & Brand Execution: Develop campaign creative across digital advertising, email, print and sales collateral, and experiential/trade-show environments — including segment-weighted brand ad campaigns and conference presence materials. Help evolve SPOC's visual identity as the company's positioning matures.
Motion & Interactive: Create motion graphics and lightweight animation for web, social, presentations, and campaigns. Support HTML5/interactive creative initiatives. Collaborate with specialist vendors — video production partners and developers — retained for surge and heavy-lift work.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work daily with the CMO, marketing operations, commercial strategy, sales enablement, and HR. Support the external agency relationship, which focuses on campaign and media-buying execution. Manage multiple concurrent projects at speed in a fast moving environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Five or more years in digital creative, content production, or web/UI-UX roles within a technology, engineering, industrial, or similar environment. A portfolio demonstrating shipped work across video, motion, and web — not static assets alone. Proficiency across a modern stack: Adobe Creative Cloud including Premiere Pro and After Effects (or DaVinci Resolve), Figma, Canva, Webflow/WordPress-class CMS platforms, social media and YouTube publishing workflows, and AI-assisted design and content production tools. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with sound responsive design fundamentals. UI/UX capability — user flows, usability thinking, conversion improvement — is a strong differentiator and supports upper band compensation.
