What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Project Engineer position at SPM Resources?
SPM Resources has an immediate need for a Civil Project Engineer in Raleigh, NC. Will be working within a land development department of a growing regional civil and transportation engineering firm. Will work within a team environment preparing construction documents on a variety of development projects which include residential/commercial subdivisions, institutional, educational, and municipal site plans. EXPERIENCE and REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 2-5 years of civil site development experience.
- Candidate must be proficient with Civil 3D.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of civil design experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with others in our team-oriented environment.
- Produce roadway grades and alignments.
- Ability to produce large scale grading plans.
- Must have experience with reading and following codes, regulations, and design guidelines.
- Experience performing commercial and residential subdivision layout.
- Willingness to work in the office as needed.
Preferred Requirements
- EIT, PE, or ability to obtain
Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
