We have an immediate need for a Bridge Project Engineer to join a growing Transportation Engineering firm located in Raleigh, NC. This position will involve analysis, design and inspection of highway bridges and associated structures. Responsibilities Include
- Work as an integral part of the growing Bridge Practice in NC.
- Solid structural analysis and design skills with an understanding of related engineering disciplines needed to complete transportation and infrastructure projects.
- Obtain company ownership on day one of employment.
- Provide analysis, design and inspection of permanent and temporary bridges and related structures.
- Work on design and design-build teams with some of the region's top contractors.
- Support structural design on selected projects and lead assigned tasks.
- Assist in maintaining quality of project deliverables produced by the Bridge Group.
- Ability to work into a Project Management role.
Qualifications Include
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural, Civil, Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 8-15 years of progressive design experience on NCDOT bridge engineering projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within a year.
- Solid structural analysis and design skills with an understanding of related engineering disciplines needed to complete transportation and infrastructure projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to form effective relationships with staff and clients.
Salary : $95,000 - $145,000
