Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a warm, welcoming manner at the counter and throughout the café
- Take and process customer orders accurately, including in-person and phone orders
- Handle cash and POS transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing front-of-house area
- Restock display cases, pastry shelves, and beverage stations as needed
- Assist with packaging baked goods and fulfilling custom or bulk orders
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bakery staff to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements:
- Prior customer service, café, bakery, or food service experience preferred
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a strong customer-first attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
