Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and weed control to keep outdoor areas pristine.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and weed whackers.
- Support planting projects by preparing soil, planting shrubs, flowers, and trees with care.
- Maintain irrigation systems by installing, repairing, or adjusting sprinklers and hoses to ensure proper watering.
- Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and staff.
- Conduct general site cleanup and maintenance to uphold high standards of landscape appearance.
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is highly desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key!
- Basic mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscape maintenance.
- Familiarity with gardening practices, tree care including trimming and pruning techniques.
- Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair is a plus.
- Experience with snow plowing or winter maintenance is beneficial but not required.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols while working outdoors in various weather conditions.
