Position Overview:
The Event Planner & Project Coordinator is a key operational role responsible for supporting the SPLiCE mission through exceptional event planning, preparation, and execution, project management, Member engagement, and organizational support. This position assists with planning and execution of SPLiCE in-person and virtual meetings, working through event logistics and vendor coordination to help SPLiCE provide great service and an exceptional experience to event attendees.
This position requires a detail‑oriented, resourceful professional who excels at organizing complex workflows, communicating clearly, and adapting to evolving business needs. The ideal candidate brings strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, a can‑do attitude, and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Travel to the organization’s three core annual events is required.
Main Responsibilities:
Event Planner
o Lead end-to-end event planning and coordination, including managing contracts and arrangements with food & beverage providers, hotels, venues, and other event vendors.
o Oversight of logistics management, communication with hotel management, reconciliation of registered attendees and hotel reservations, onsite registration and materials shipping for in person events.
o Assist with event setup and breakdown, including preparing event spaces, arranging materials and equipment, and ensuring all items are properly packed and stored following each event.
o Travel to each of the three core annual SPLiCE Events as needed and assist throughout
o Brand Oasis Licensors Summit: (Atlanta, GA; January 2027)
o Licensors Workshop (Dublin, Ireland; April 2027)
o SPLiCE ICON International Conference (Location TBD; September/October 2027)
Project Coordinator
o Responsible for supporting and preparing monthly virtual benchmark and committee meetings
o Provide support and research assistance for the CEO
o Support successful business management and projects utilizing Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Outlook, Dynamics, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
o Track analytics from online systems
o Work to onboard new SPLiCE Member Companies
