Role Description
The M365 Support Engineer role at Splendid Technology Services is a full-time position based in Plano, TX, with the flexibility of a hybrid work setup, allowing some work-from-home opportunities. The role involves providing technical support and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 (M365) issues, offering best-in-class customer service to resolve client concerns. You will work alongside a skilled team to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of M365 environments, including managing operating systems and supporting customers to achieve optimal outcomes for their technology needs.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Troubleshooting and Technical Support.
- Experience in providing Customer Support and maintaining high-quality Customer Service.
- Proficiency in managing and supporting Operating Systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively assist clients and address their needs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 environments and associated tools. Certifications in M365 or other relevant areas are a plus.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, in a hybrid work model.
- Previous experience in IT support or a related field is advantageous.
Duties
- MS365 Management: Lead the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Office 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
- Migration: Plan and execute migrations to Office 365 from on-premises systems or other platforms.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Office 365 applications and services.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure Office 365 implementations adhere to security policies and compliance standards.
- Network Admin: Perform basic network administration tasks
- Hardware Support: Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Cisco hardware and software (workstations, servers, enterprise equipment).
- Manage and maintain network infrastructures, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Monitor network traffic and troubleshoot issues related to DNS, TCP, and other network protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in deploying and managing Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Server technologies (Active Directory, Exchange, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in network administration and hardware support.
- Basic networking skills (TCP/IP, AD, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong background in network engineering with a focus on VPNs and network protocols.
- Familiarity with DNS management and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles.
- Excellent computer management skills with an emphasis on maintaining system integrity.
- Certifications a plus
