Role Summary
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for an experienced finance professional looking to move beyond traditional accounting cycles. This position will act as a subject matter expert (SME) on SplashBI’s financial reporting and analytics tools, demoing solutions, solving real-world reporting challenges, and enabling finance teams to improve efficiency and data transparency.
This position will support sales, implementation, and product teams through demos, training, customer onboarding, and feedback loops. The role also involves monitoring industry trends and sharing insights to shape internal and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver product demonstrations for prospective and existing customers.
· Support sales and customer success teams with financial and product expertise.
· Assist with customer implementations by supporting project managers and customers to drive product adoption.
· Support advanced customer reporting needs through professional services or consulting when complex financial reporting is required.
· Deliver customer training sessions on SplashBI solutions.
· Create best practices and user guides to support adoption and success.
· Partner with internal teams to improve knowledge sharing and onboarding.
· Work closely with the development team to share customer feedback, identify product improvements, and test new features.
· Participate in QA cycles to validate accuracy, filters, and drill-down functionality before releases.
· Contribute to the creation and review of financial product marketing materials.
· Monitor industry trends and research competitors to provide consultative insights that inform internal strategy, customer discussions, and prospect engagements.
Travel
· Some travel may be required.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field
· 5 years of experience in financial reporting or analytics
· Strong knowledge of general ledger, accounting processes, and financial reporting
· Oracle EBS or Fusion experience is helpful but not required
· Ability to explain complex financial reporting concepts to both financial and technical audiences
· Excellent communication skills with experience in demos, training, or client-facing presentations
· Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
