Splash Pool Service is a locally owned pool care company serving Kalamazoo, Portage, Battle Creek, and surrounding Southwest Michigan communities — and we're looking for a motivated, reliable pool technician to grow with us.
Duties
- Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and chemical balancing to maintain pristine water quality.
- Perform routine inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems to ensure proper operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using hand tools and power tools; replace faulty parts as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and chemical treatments administered.
- Respond promptly to service calls for equipment malfunctions or pool issues, providing effective solutions on-site.
- Assist with opening and closing pools according to safety standards and company procedures.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and clients.
Experience
- Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment problems efficiently.
- Hands-on experience with pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to perform routine maintenance tasks independently with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.

Pay: $23.74 - $28.59 per hour
