Spivey's Body Shop has been providing professional collision repair to Ellijay Georgia and the surrounding area since 1980.
Responsibilities
- Assist estimator and technicians in identifying and obtaining automotive parts that have been damaged due to a collision.
- Maintain inventory of commonly used automotive supplies.
- Manage inventory levels through inventory control, stock stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure product availability.
- Use collision estimating and parts procurement software daily.
- Maintain relationships with multiple parts vendors.
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, cash handling, and cashiering duties accurately.
- Maintain organized personal space and stock areas.
- Assist estimators and technicians with tasks outside of job description if needed.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone etiquette, in person, or online with professionalism and clarity.
- Use organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and improve overall profits.
Experience
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of automobile components.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive service is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CCC or other collision estimating software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and negotiation abilities, are essential.
- Prior experience in automotive repair or auto parts sales will be considered an asset. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent customer service skills, technical automotive knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
