Job description:
Spivey's Body Shop in Ellijay, GA is hiring for an Estimator's Position. We are a small family-owned business that has been providing professional collision repair since 1980. This job requires a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and good organization. The main goal is to provide thorough inspections while estimating collision damages along with any other related processes required to move the vehicle through repairs efficiently.
Pay will be based on experience and job qualifications. Experience with CCC one software is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
Requirements include:
- Minimum of 1 year of reputable/proven experience in a body shop or other automotive service
- Knowledge of automobile components and current automobile technology
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Dependable and works well with others
- Strong Customer Service skills
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing vehicles for damage and preparing a repair plan
- Daily use of Collision estimating software (CCC one)
- Parts ordering
- Tracking parts orders, returns, and profit margins
- Inspecting and checking in parts orders
- Keeping an organized workspace and parts receiving area.
- Assisting with general office tasks
- Greeting customers
- Scheduling repairs
- Communicating with technicians
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
