Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Assist with the setup, calibration, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines.
- Handle industrial chemicals and pharmaceutical agents with precision, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and disposal in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Follow detailed manufacturing procedures to produce pharmaceutical or chemical products, maintaining accuracy in measurements and documentation using basic math skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the manufacturing area, including packaging stations and warehouse zones, adhering to GMP and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
- Support quality control efforts by participating in laboratory testing, sampling, and documentation to ensure product integrity.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols such as respiratory protection, chemical handling procedures, PPE usage, and safety protocol adherence to prevent accidents or contamination.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within pharmaceutical or industrial chemical sectors.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate machining tools or equipment used in production processes.
- Familiarity with GMP or CGMP standards for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
- Experience handling industrial chemicals safely while following all safety regulations including PPE and respiratory protection requirements.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements, formulations, or quality checks.
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with material handling equipment operation such as forklifts is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and regulatory compliance standards related to pharmaceutical or chemical production.
