$65,000 - $95,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Meet with clients to discuss their claims
- Assess cases involving discrimination, sexual harassment, FMLA, overtime disputes, and wrongful termination
- Manage the claims procedure and litigation process efficiently
- Participate in negotiations for settlements
- Maintain regular communication with staff and managers to coordinate appointments and discussions
- Prepare necessary legal documents such as notice of claims, EEOC charges, and state charge forms
- Collaborate with EEOC investigators to provide evidence and support for cases
- The position of an Employee's Rights Attorney in Independence, OH, US requires a Juris Doctorate for consideration
- Candidates should either possess a current license to practice law or be in the process of awaiting Ohio bar results
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential attributes for the ideal candidate for this role
- A crucial requirement for this position is the ability to demonstrate empathy towards clients
- Advanced time management skills are necessary for effectively multitasking, organizing, and prioritizing work
